Ivan Ebejer


Ivan Ebejer is an economist, consultant and foresight strategist with over 25 years’ of public and private sector experience in economics, finance and EU affairs. As a
European Commission official, he served in different roles and carried out numerous analytical assignments as well as studies as part of the design, formulation and
evaluation of EU policy strategies and funding programmes.
Ivan combines his economics background with a professional interest in strategic foresight/futures thinking, entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation to identify future
opportunities or find solutions to dynamic and complex problems. He applies human-centred and design thinking techniques to create meaningful, innovative solutions
that deliver value to organisations.
Ivan mentors undergraduate vocational education students as part of their entrepreneurship studies as well as aspiring young entrepreneurs in Junior
Achievement teams. He lectures the module ‘Economics for Managers’ at Knights, and taught the course on the ‘Economics of European Integration’ as visiting lecturer at
the University of Malta.
