Dr. Joanna Voulgaropoulou


As the Head of the School of Management at Coventry University, Dr. Joanna Voulgaropouloustands at the forefront of innovative business education, championing acurriculum designed for global impact. With a PhD in Organisational Leadershipfrom the University of Glasgow, and a rich academic background including a B.Sc. in Business Management and Economics fromEmpire State University, and Master's degrees from Liverpool Hope University(M.A. in Tourism Management) and London Metropolitan University (M.B.A. inInternational Finance), Dr. Joanna brings a wealth of knowledge to her role.Her dedication to leadership was recognized early in her career with theprestigious Leadership Initiative Fellowship Scholarship at HarvardUniversity’s Kennedy School of Government in 2003.
Dr. Joannajoined Coventry University London in 2018, having previously held positions atinstitutions like the University of Bath, the University of Westminster, theUniversity of Bedfordshire, and Kingston University. This experience has fueledher passion for integrating leadership disciplines and significantly enhancingthe student experience through innovative pedagogy.
