As a Quality Assurance Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and coordination of Knights College's institutional quality assurance systems. You will work closely with academic and administrative teams to ensure that our operations consistently meet internal standards and external regulatory requirements, contributing directly to our reputation for excellence.
You will report directly to the School Principal on matters related to academic quality and compliance, and liaise with the Knights College Board as required.
Responsibilities
Role responsibilities (will include but are not limited to)
1. Manage Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance
- Coordinate responsibilities within quality assurance frameworks and contribute to internal and external audits, demonstrating our commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ensure effective implementation of Knights College’s Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) procedures in collaboration with academic teams, reinforcing a shared responsibility for quality.
- Maintain comprehensive quality-related documentation, such as learner feedback, programme review reports, and board minutes, promoting transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate on the development and regular review of academic policies, ensuring full alignment with national and international regulatory frameworks and our ethos of integrity.
2. Support Data Integrity and Documentation
- Ensure that all academic documentation (transcripts, certificates, confirmation letters) adhere to quality standards for accuracy and timely issuance, reflecting our pursuit of excellence.
- Contribute to the accuracy and security of institutional data in compliance with GDPR and internal quality policies.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Serve as a key point of contact with awarding bodies for matters related to quality, assessment, and certification compliance.
- Support students and faculty in matters related to appeals, deferrals, and academic procedures, ensuring due process and quality standards are met within our supportive environment.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (MQF Level 6) in Quality Assurance, Education, Management, or a related field.
- At least 1 year experience with quality assurance practices, ideally within Further or Higher Education.
- In-depth knowledge of MFHEA frameworks is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with national and international awarding bodies and their quality requirements.
- Experience with student information systems, particularly concerning data integrity and quality reporting, is a plus.
