Unlike traditional MBAs, this expertly designed Master of Business Administration in Sport Management programme enables learners to meet the needs of the workplace by integrating academia with industry. By mixing theory with practice, this programme will equip you with the knowledge, skills and competencies required to be able to successfully lead, guide and inspire people within sports organisations. You’ll learn how to guide stakeholders such as team players and board of governors towards good practices, comply with various laws governing the sports industry, source government funding with regard to sporting events and the management of clubs, and adopt a creative and innovative management style for that extra edge.
A mixed-method assessment approach will be utilised for this programme. This will include time-constrained assessments, critical essays, project work and thesis.
This course is intended for those who are aged 21+ and aspire to work or are already working in sports management.
Applicants should hold an undergraduate degree and have 2 years of relevant work experience. Excellent command of written English is required.
