The programme delivers an integrated learning experience that combines academic rigour with real-world application. Learners engage in industry-focused case studies, simulations, and project-based assignments, allowing them to apply theory directly to workplace contexts. Key areas of study include incremental and transformational change, cost estimation models such as COCOMO and cost-benefit analysis, Earned Value Management (EVM), and contemporary risk management frameworks, while also examining the impact of organisational culture, complexity, and external economic and political factors on project performance.
On successful completion, graduates will be equipped to plan, lead, control, and optimise projects, programmes, and portfolios at a strategic level. Career progression opportunities include roles such as Programme Manager, Project Director, Head of Project Management, Portfolio Manager, or the establishment of a project management consultancy, across a wide range of industries.
A mixed method approach will be utilised for this award. This will include, assignments, case studies and group work.
This course is intended for those who are aged 25+ and aspire to work or are already working in project management.


Applicants should hold an undergraduate degree and have 2 years of relevant work experience. Excellent command of written English is required.
