The MQF Level 5 Award in Organisational Structures and Culture enable learners to gain extensive knowledge about organisational structures and cultures. Learners will be able to analyse and distinguish between various organisational structures and their impact on organisational cultures.

This award will provide learners with a comprehensive understanding and valuable insights into the correlation between organisational culture and employee behaviour. Learners will be able to assess the effect of culture on HR practices and analyse the significant connections between employee satisfaction, performance, and organisational structure.

Learners will learn how to:

  • Monitor the organisational culture and values of the organisation to ensure employee satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with all management and colleagues to ensure enhanced performance.
  • Examine and evaluate various approaches to create and retain an organisational culture.
  • Apply the most appropriate leadership style depending on the organisational culture and structure.
  • Examine the main links between employee performance and satisfaction and organisational structure.
  • Practice effective self-assessment practices to identify leadership style and identify ways to improve such practices.
  • Monitor trends and advances in corporate social responsibility which must be embedded in organisational culture.

Mode of Assessment

The Award in Organisational Structures and Culture is assessed through the use of a group presentation and a reflective journal.

Entry Requirements

The below are the requested entry requirements

To be eligible for the programme, candidates must hold any one of the following requirements:

  • Diploma pegged at MQF Level 4 or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Matriculation certificate with at least 2 A-levels and 3 Intermediates
  • Matsec certificates with 4 passes at Grade 5 or better
  • Relevant work experience

Non-native English speakers must also have an English qualification such as CEFR or IELTS 5.5.

MySkills Scheme

The MySkills Scheme aims to promote a culture of lifelong learning by subsidizing the cost of training for individuals who wish to upskill or reskill. Through this initiative, learners who are not in employment may recover 100% of eligible training costs, while those in employment may recover 80% of the training cost. In both cases, individuals must successfully complete the training. All grants will be capped at €5,000 and are subject to meeting all terms and conditions of the Scheme, including the de minimis Regulation (EU 2023/2831) where applicable
