A dynamic module equipping students with the essential knowledge and practical skills to excel in inventory management within today’s fast-moving supply chain environment.

Learners will discover how smart inventory strategies can drive efficiency, reduce costs, and consistently meet customer demand. The module covers key industry concepts such as demand forecasting, inventory control systems, EOQ, Just-In-Time (JIT), safety stock, and the growing impact of technology on inventory management. Blending strong theoretical foundations with hands-on application, this module empowers students to confidently design and implement effective, real-world inventory management solutions.

Mode of Assessment

A mixed-method assessment approach will be utilised for this programme. This will include the use of a presentation (30 %) and an assignment (70 %).

Target Audience

This course is intended for those who are aged 21+ and are aspiring supply chain and logistics professionals looking to build a solid foundation in inventory management.
