This module provides students with the opportunity to apply the knowledge, skills, and competences they have developed through practical, work-based learning. It offers a structured environment where learners can translate theory into real-world practice while working towards the achievement of the module’s intended learning outcomes.

Learners will learn how to:

  • Apply management principles to health organisations depending on the management level
  • Create and formulate SMART goals and objectives within the workplace
  • Design and apply a communication strategy.
  • Demonstrate masterly in leading teams using compassion and empathy
  • Exhibit outstanding time management skills
  • Formulate strategies to attract, retain and motivate employees within health management at the work place
  • Assess the need for a training gap analysis and suggest the implementation of one to aid human resource development
  • Design Gantt Charts and PERT diagrams to manage time and respective teams effectively
  • Discuss, communicate and listen to colleagues actively and conduct clear, understandable and concise discussions
  • Construct and discuss via digital platforms and communication channels clearly and understandably

Mode of Assessment

This module shall be assessed through the use of an assignment (100%).
