This module provides learners with a comprehensive understanding of the actions and decisions consumers make before and during the purchase and use of products or services.

Drawing on theories from psychology and sociology, it explores how these concepts are applied to understand consumer behaviour in both C2C and B2B contexts.

Students will examine how organisations identify consumer needs and make strategic decisions to meet them. The module also focuses on methods for collecting and analysing consumer data, including market research, social media metrics, Google Analytics, and in-store analytics, providing insights into consumer patterns and behaviour. Through a combination of theory and practical application, learners gain the skills to understand and influence consumer decision-making effectively.

Mode of Assessment

This award will be assessed through the use of a case study.
