Building the Next Generation of Business Leaders From Within

A Knights College event, crafted for leaders who decide who leads next. Limited seating, by application.

The talent to run your business tomorrow is often already in the building: unseen, underused, and quietly deciding whether to stay. How do you find those people, grow them, and keep them before someone else does? That's the conversation we're hosting.

The second conversation

From a sold-out first event to the next question worth asking

The context

Knights College's inaugural business event, The Human Edge: Leading in the Age of AI, sold out and left senior HR, people and operations leaders in Malta asking for more of the same: direct, editorial conversation about the decisions shaping how their organisations are led.

This second event takes on a different question. As AI reshapes what work looks like, the organisations that will out-perform are the ones already building their next layer of leaders, not searching for them externally when a seat becomes vacant. Knights College and Mdina Partners are bringing together a keynote and panel to make the case, and the practice, for developing business leaders from within.

The keynote

Opening the morning

Morgan Parnis
Keynote speaker

Morgan Parnis

Serial Entrepreneur, Knights College CEO & Founder

Morgan opens the morning with the case for building leadership capacity from within: what it takes to spot potential early, why succession planning is a growth strategy rather than a contingency plan, and what changes when a business decides to trust the people already on its payroll.

Who we're inviting

Built for the people who decide who leads next

This morning is for CEOs, founders, and the heads of people, HR and operations who are already thinking seriously about how their leadership bench gets built.

It's also for anyone weighing a next generation of managers and aspiring leaders against the instinct to hire externally instead.

Why this conversation, now

The cost of leaving succession to chance

As AI reshapes roles and workflows, the businesses that adapt fastest are the ones that have already invested in the judgement of their own people, not just their tools. Waiting until a senior seat is vacant to think about who fills it is an expensive way to find out.

  • How to spot leadership potential before a title makes it obvious
  • What structured development looks like inside a growing team
  • Where external hiring still belongs, and where it doesn't
